The idea of not seeing the ones you love or not paying a visit to your favourite coffee shop for the next four weeks is something that is almost impossible for any of us to wrap our heads around. But here we are, only a few days into that unfathomable task.
The team here at Remain have been thinking about the best ways to spend our new found time, we of course will be binge watching many a Netflix shows but this also feels like the perfect time to change up what we are consuming.
So here we have Lockdown Week One - Essential Consuming.
Google Arts and Culture
- In a previously undiscovered area of Google I have recently learnt they offer virtual tours and online exhibitions for almost 2500 museums, galleries and land marks from all over the world. So far I have checked out the Taj Mahal, the works of Frida Kahlo and the Musèe d’Orsay.
- Good for both mental stimulation and social interaction the App lets you play online with friends. If your not familiar with this classic tile game its easy to pick up with their helpful tutorial. I will be purchasing a set for real life play once this is over.
- Keeping active is an essential and we are so lucky to have the option to virtually work out with the team at Sala who we regularly visit. There is a free trial on offer if you want to see if it works for you and then only $25 a month for full access to all their classes.
Future Nostalgia / Dua Lipa
- This is such a fun album with a blend of 80’s and early 2000’s pop, it's perfect for a mid day dance break in your lounge. It has only be out for about 24 hours but I think I've listened to it about 100 times.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians - Known for their perfect timing the Kardashians have blessed us with the Season 18 premier during lockdown. We can’t get enough! (I cant share the link in here but if you aren't able to find it message us and we can share)
